Ten commandments for Bloggers

The Evangelical Alliance has designed 10 commandments to help Christian bloggers to keep on the straight and narrow paths through cyberspace.

Ten commandments for bloggers
1 You shall not put your blog before your integrity

2 You shall not make an idol of your blog

3 You shall not misuse your screen name by using your anonymity to sin

4 Remember the Sabbath day by taking one day off a week from your blog

5 Honour your fellow-bloggers above yourselves and do not give undue significance to their mistakes

6 You shall not murder someone else's honour, reputation or feelings

7 You shall not use the web to commit or permit adultery in your mind

8 You shall not steal another person's content

9 You shall not give false testimony against your fellow-blogger

10 You shall not covet your neighbour's blog ranking. Be content with your own content

I can't see myself sticking to all of them somehow! Indeed I think that I might have broken numbers 5, 6, 7 and 10 in just one short post here!

But these ten shall guide me, a relatively new blogger from India and a new face at Bloghounds, in blogging..thank you for it!

btw, the EU perhaps could be given a copy for reference while they draft the regulations..It would be worthwhile to go by this, I believe...

    thanks anyway...
    see you again

  3. Oh my word! I don't believe it!

Maybe the EA should think about poverty and slavery and abuse and spend conference money on such things. (And I'm a Christian blogger.)
