Glenys gets her nose back in the trough

Gordon Brown has just announced that Glenys Kinnock is to be made a member of the House of Lords and made minister for Europe.

It was bad enough that Peter Hain should be returned to frontline government, but this shows just how desperate Labour is.

    Please remember that Lady Glenys of Ealing is STILL an MEP until September, unless she resigns. If not, she'll continue to draw the salary, pension and allowances.

    Not only desperate for Labour but desperate for Welsh, British and European politics. The answer is a general election to sweep them back out again
